Description: This is a beautiful original watch from the estate of a WWII veteran. The watch is open face, stem wind and set, 50mm diameter. The case has the number “D 8404224 H” on back. I have not opened the case. The back is tight, and I did not want to damage it. The black dial & hands are original. the celluloid crystal has some stress cracks in it. The dial has a few light shrinkage cracks near the top as well. The watch is running. It runs and sets, but it has not been serviced in decades, so I cannot guarantee it to be reliable.
